Your booking is accepted subject to the following terms and conditions and by confirming your booking you accept that these terms & conditions will apply.
Amendments:
Any amendments to your booking after confirmation can only be accepted subject to availability. Crown Coaches reserves the right to charge for any addition in relation to the amendment.
Cancellations:
In an event that you cancel your booking. Crown Coaches Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee as follows:
Bookings cancelled by 5:00PM the day before the booking: No cancellation fee;
Bookings cancelled after 5:00PM the day before the booking: 50% cancellation fee;
Bookings cancelled as a bus or coach is enroute to pick-up for the booking: 100% cancellation fee.
Credit Card Charges:
In the event of payment via credit card (VISA or MasterCard only), Crown Coaches will charge an additional fee of 2% of the value of the booking including GST.
Non Account Clients:
Crown Coaches require the full 100% payment of the booking(s) to confirm a booking no later than 2 business days prior to the date of travel. Your charter booking(s) will remain in ‘Quote’ status and will not be confirmed in ‘Job’ status until 100% of the payment of the booking(s) is received. Payment can be made by either direct payment or by credit card (VISA or MasterCard only).
Account Clients:
Once your charter booking(s) have been confirmed and completed as a ‘Job’ status they will then be converted to ‘Invoice’ status. You will then receive a tax invoice(s). Payment terms are ‘end of following month’.
Overdue Accounts:
In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including legal demand costs.
Extensions:
You are responsible for any charges of extra time in the event that your booking does not run to schedule or you choose to extend the duration of your booking.
Other Conditions of Booking:
Food & Beverage Consumption (including alcohol) – Food & Beverages (including alcohol) are not to be consumed on any vehicle. Consumption of alcohol whilst on board a “bus” is not permitted under Section 113A Consumption of Liquor on Party Buses of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998.
Damage to Vehicle – You are responsible for any charge due to any damage caused to a vehicle as a direct result of your booking. You will not be responsible for payment where damage was caused by the actions of any employee of Crown Coaches. In all cases the driver of any vehicle will have the discretion to stop the vehicle and disembark those passengers engaging in unacceptable or unruly behaviour.
Smoking – Smoking is not permitted by law on any vehicle supplied by Crown Coaches.
Quotations:
Prices are current at the time of quotation and subject to availability at the time of booking. All quoted prices include GST. Crown Coaches reserves the right to pass on, without notice, any increases that may occur in any applicable airport charges, road tolls, entry fees or parking charges.
83 seat coaches (Primary School compatible only):
Important information regarding the 83 seat coaches
Subject to availability only.
Children sharing 3 to a seat must be under 12 years of age.
If a child is considered closer to adult size then it would be recommended the child has their own seat – this would limit the total capacity the coach can carry.
It is expected the Booking Officer is given the ‘exact’ child vs adult ratio to ensure compatibility when making a confirmed booking.
Lost Property:
If you have lost property on a coach please call our Charter Department on 9845 1400 and we will do our best to locate it for you. If it is a valuable item (i.e- Mobile phone, ipad, camera, wallet) you will be expected to collect from our office reception located at 79 Norcal Road Nunawading. You will need to show identification and sign for your lost property retrieval.
