Crown Coaches was awarded the very first Quality Assured Maintenance (QAM) certificate in this state. This achievement ensures our fleet always reaches maximum industry standards.
The latest in computerised monitoring technology fitted on every bus, designed to ensure maximum passenger safety. Crown Coaches is one of the first bus companies in this country to fit the satellite-run Global Positioning System (GPS) on its entire fleet. This undoubtedly provides the ultimate in response times to customer requests.

Crown Coaches employs approximately 200 people - drivers, maintenance crew, bus supervisors and office personnel. All are highly trained in their area of expertise. Drivers are trained to: Drive defensively - this is ensured using the latest in driver and vehicle monitoring, including Monash Professional Group vehicle telemetry recording units (see Technology Partners links). Provide passenger comfort. Provide a service which runs to time, is safe and friendly. Provide specific services catered to passenger needs, for example: wheelchair-bound passengers. The Crown Coaches fleet currently comprises some 110 passenger vehicles. Amongst these, are vehicles fitted with : - seatbelts

The Crown Coaches workshop is one of the most well-equipped and functional of any charter company in Australia. Our workshop uses the latest equipment, expertise and custom software for maintenance workflow and inventory. Our new depot in Nunawading has enabled a fresh start and complete redesign of the workshop facilities and layout, improving functionality and safety. Specialised equipment includes diesel engine emission testing, brake roller testing and wheel balance. Crown Coaches is able to offer its workshop facilities to other charter companies, church groups and schools. Staffed by professional mechanics, panel beaters, upholsterers and electrical technicians, the workshop facilities form part of the Crown Coaches "total service" approach to its customers. The new Crown Coaches Nunawading facility also features a Spray-and-Bake spray booth for body painting and a dedicated panel beating and detailing shop meticulously maintains the fleet. |
